Adobe Encore Woes

As we continue to look for ways to improve our workflow, to make it as efficient as possible, we keep discovering all kinds of bugs with Adobe Encore, mainly with Blu-ray Authoring.

We will soon be updating some of our existing tutorials that will take advantage of some excellent time saving features in Encore, and use the program more like it was intended to be used. These features were previously avoided in our workflow due to bugs that rendered them useless, however we think we have pinpointed exactly what causes some of these problems, and will demonstrate how to avoid running into them in the updated tutorial.

I still prefer Adobe Encore over DVD Studio Pro, especially with our updated workflow that makes the authoring process even more simple. Despite the many bugs that Encore has, we feel we have identified what causes most of them, and when properly avoided, won’t interfere with creating a fully functioning Blu-ray or DVD disc.

Stay tuned for our updated tutorials!
