It’s no surprise that digital delivery is the new standard for video production. MediaZilla has become the method of choice by industry leaders such as Ray Roman, Joe Switzer, Dave Williams, Taryn Pollock, and many more.

We’ve had a good run, but it’s time to embrace the future of our industry. With the rapid adoption of MediaZilla from both video professionals and their clients, Precomposed is closing its doors for good.

Customer support and authoring services will be provided until the end of 2014. Please make sure to backup your downloads! We will not be reactivating links after 2014. Tutorials will be made available on MediaZilla beyond 2014.

Now is your last chance to buy Precomposed Templates!
Sale Ends December 1st, 2014.

MediaZilla is a better experience for you and your clients.
Visit the website and learn all about it.

Jon it would be a loss to close down. Leave it open or go open source? Still going to be a few years before DVD/BD is completely phased out.

  2. Pascal says:

I will miss Precomposed for sure. My clients can’t fathom not receiving DVDs and/or Blu-ray. They feel when something is stored elsewhere they don’t own it and they can’t control it. Also I have lots of clients with families overseas in 3rd world countries. They want DVDs to send back home–not even Blu-ray.

  3. adam says:

I was just coming to buy some templates. If not for sale will you at least release some with the tutorials? Ive purchased before and I loved your product.

  4. Rob says:

    Hi,
I would love to purchase your templates. Please let me know how?

  5. steven says:

i just missed the sale can i still purchase these items? pleas elet me know i would like to get 2 of your wedding templates

  6. Yaas says:

Agree with Nicholas here. It would be tragic if you shut this down as there is still a niche for this type of service, and as he says it will be a while before physical media is phased out totally.

  7. John says:

I agree, I don’t plan to get Media Zilla until the clients stop asking for hardcopies, who doesn’t want a backup of their wedding memories?

If this is some scheme for getting people to use Media Zilla why should I spend $50 a month when that online service is free on Youtube. Why not keep Precompossed and Media Zilla open and let the results decide?

  8. Joyce says:

why close sales on the site, are losing money?let the two options available : precomposed and mediazilla. Only your customers know what is good for each.DVD is not dead yet, and it will take many years for this to happen , USD 50,00 in Mediazilla is very expensive.

This is true … I recognize that the MediaZilla is an excellent outlet for the future completion of the medias video …. BUT I live in Brazil and here the subject is too late, it will take a long time until they discover and start to want to use the MediaZilla. Do not close the precomposed.com this would be a great loss to us that we have customers who are keen to have the physical media. Continue to produce for both platforms, please ?!

  10. Michael Wynes ( Germany ) says:

What a Shame that this is closing!

Is there still a Chance or is somebody able to sell some Motion Kits for me?

    Merry Christmas

  11. Charlie says:

Don’t shut down. We are a company that does A LOT of weddings and I am telling you that the shift isn’t there yet. Media Zilla is a great idea and will take off, but couples want physical media to give to their family. Especially older relatives. Please come back online. Your templates are amazing!!!! We are depending on you.

  12. carol says:

back only for one more day, pleaseee

  13. Alan says:

There’s tutorials for every kit except the new one….#17-Serenity. Was there ever a tutorial produced?

  14. John Roquemore says:

Would purchase several items, even without updates, if they were available again.

  15. Damon says:

This is sad. The young clients that I work with refuse to accept packages that do not include DVD/Bluray. They like the digital delivery, but they want the Bluray/DVD too. Came here looking for menu templates, and find awesome stuff, only to find that you cannot buy them anymore. Sorry, but even younger people are not ready to go all digital….they want something they can pop in their media player.

  16. Edee Lemonier says:

So tragic. I’m finalizing a video for my family. They are mostly older people who still have DVD players and no access to the cloud because they have no idea how. The video is nearly 90 minutes long. There will always be a need, and I’m so sick of these cloud-based companies pushing out the little guys. I get it, truly I do. You have to keep the lights on. But grrrr!! I really needed that one template!!

  17. jamie akrill says:

Ah heck, this is a shame, I was needing a template for one of my weddings 🙁

  18. Marcos says:

Why did you shut it down? We need you guys, Mediazilla it’s a good format, but I have a lot of clients that want physical DVDs and Blurays on their hands, With Mediazilla can we download the whole format to burn it on a DVD or Bluray?
